Gamers for Humanity

I started getting involved in the Gen Con forums a little while ago. I used to volunteer for the con and I was pretty active with the Indy Mavens BITD as well. For the last few years, though, I haven't been able to work or even attend the con, so I stopped following the boards.

Anyway, when I got involved again, I found out about Gamers for Humanity. These folks are gamers that are trying to give something back to the greater world community in the form of volunteer work, game drives, and other activities. They're doing a lot of good work.

If you feel like throwing your support to something worthwhile, check out their website, check out their booth at Gen Con, donate something (games, money, or time), or at least spread the word.
