What's Next

I have been following a lot of the news about D&D Next and waiting to see what it looks like before commenting. Today, Monte Cook posted on his blog that he is no longer working with Wizards and is moving onto other projects. So one of the main reasons I had some faith and hope for the next iteration of D&D is not involved with the project anymore for reasons that he will not disclose.

I have to say that I appreciate that he is not going into details publicly. I also have to say that I hope Monte does well with whatever he does next. I like a lot of his work and wish him the best.

I also have to say that I am not really concerned with D&D Next anymore. I am playing my game regularly and enjoying it, so I'm not really concerned with changing things up with a new edition. Good luck to all the other designers, marketers, and others trying to create and push the next version. Unless I hear some great things about it, I'm just going to ignore it and play MY game.

Setting forth on the Great Bay of Ee

Okay, I've started posting some things over on eBay. Right now I have a bunch of Flames of War supplement books, some Warhammer 40K Imperial Guard and Space Wolves stuff, and a small horde of skaven units.

I'll be dropping more things there over the next few days. Most of that will be Imperial Guard or Space Marines for 40K. If you play either of those armies and need some things to fill out the ranks, drop me a line. If we can work something out so I don't have to put them on eBay, great!

Also, I will have quite a few Games Workshop hard figure cases. I'll be selling them as soon as they're empty. At the moment, I have three of the large green cases, including the carrying straps but without the foam inserts. I know you can get foam trays to fit these from Battlefoam. If you're interested in one or more cases, drop me a line as well.

Here's the link to what I have posted on eBay.
